Q. Do I need an account to purchase from HSB Veterinary Supply?
A. Yes. We only sell to licensed veterinarians, so you must have an account to place an order. If you don’t yet have an account, you can register here, and we’ll set it up as soon as possible.
Q. Do you have a minimum order or shipping fees?
There is no minimum order requirement. Customers within the continental United States receive free shipping on orders over $100. Orders under $100 are subject to a flat $15.50 shipping fee.
Q. How does shipping work for Alaska and Hawaii?
A. Orders ship via FedEx Second Day Air. HSB covers the cost equivalent to FedEx Ground shipping to California; any additional shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
Q. How does shipping work for Puerto Rico?
Orders ship via FedEx. Orders of $150 or more qualify for shared shipping, with HSB covering 50% of the shipping cost. Orders under $150 are billed the full shipping amount. Final shipping charges are determined after shipment.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. Most packages are shipped via FedEx Ground. Refrigerated items are shipped via FedEx 2nd Day Air to maintain proper temperature control.
Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. Existing customers will keep their current terms of sale. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Your credit card will be charged only when your order ships. If you’d like to apply for credit, please complete our one-page credit application and send it by fax or email to mjordan@hsbvet.com.
Q. How do I return a product?
A. Contact us at 1-800-526-8981 to request a return authorization from your sales representative. Returns must be in their original, clean, unmarked, and resellable packaging.
- Returns within 30 days of purchase receive 100% credit.
- Returns between 31–75 days receive 80% credit.
- Returns between 76–150 days receive 50% credit.
- No credit will be issued for products unsuitable for resale due to age, condition, obsolescence, or expiration.
